This year’s project is really a multi year project to fund the education of ms Sylvia Akinyi a bright young girl whose education was interrupted after her mother fell ill due to cancer. As she comes from a single parent household, and her mother’s illness, Sylvia was forced to drop out of school in order to take care of her mom as well as to step in and help run the small business her mother ran catering for touts in the bus stop area in Kondele Kenya. 

Her mother was unable to afford school fees as well as her personal medical fees. JONDA stepped in with the promise of paying for all her school needs for the next 4 years provided she is in good standing at the school. 

This is an ongoing project. So far we have not seen any indication that Sylvia is not focused in school as a matter of fact word from the principle is that she has adjusted very well to the new school.
